A few weeks back we did one of our favorite family activities, berry picking or tasting, depending on which family member you ask:-) We have picked strawberries for several years but last year because of rainy weather and busy schedules during the school year, we didn't get to do it. I was so disappointed and thought our Spring tradition was coming to a end. I was afraid the same would happen this year but thankfully I was able to find a farm that still had you-pick in June! We visited Washington Farms in Bogart for the first time and loved it. The staff was so friendly and we were able to pick strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. My favorite part of the trip was my kids' enthusiasm. It was hot but not a complaint was heard. The heat wasn't going to stop them from picking the most and biggest berries. They loved comparing the size of the berries they found. We heard them say, "Look at this one!" over and over again. We brought home 3 gallons of berries and memories that day.
PS: I think berry picking would make for a fun activity to do as part of a session! Send me a message if you are interested!
