Simple, Compelling Family Photography - My Online Self Paced Course

I am sooo excited to finally share that I will be teaching an online course for #clickphotoschool, “Simple, Compelling Family Photography".

What is it about? I start the class with a little background on my photography journey. I share some of my favorite, personal images and what they mean to me. This part is a little emotional but as an artist I think it’s important to slow down, dig into why we see things the way we do and then acknowledge how it makes us feels. Only then can you truly understand why these fleeting moments mean so much & need to be remembered.

I then move into more practical advice and tips. I will cover my stress free strategies to photographing family adventures including how I use the art of observation to capture storytelling moments. Family fun happens all day long not just golden hour...let me show you how I handle shooting in a variety of lighting situations including midday. I'll cover composition & editing techniques that will transform your everyday. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop to edit and have created videos illustrating my process for both programs.

I have poured myself into this project and cannot wait to share with the world!
