There are moments in life that feel like they arrive both slowly and all at once… and this is one of them.

I can hardly believe we’re here—my daughter stepping into her senior year. It feels like just yesterday I was chasing her around with a camera, trying to freeze those fleeting childhood moments, and now here she is—smart, talented, kind, and so beautifully herself.

We began her senior sessions at Richards Family Farm, tucked inside their stunning greenhouse. Spring was showing off in the best way—soft blooms, fresh greenery, and that warm light that seems to wrap around everything just right. The floral arrangement over the fireplace was truly something special, like a piece of art anchoring the space. It created the dreamiest backdrop and added such a timeless, romantic feel to her images.

This location is one of those hidden gems that photographs so effortlessly. Between the textures, the natural light, and the thoughtful details, it’s a perfect setting for a senior session that feels both elevated and authentic. We have a couple more locations planned for her sessions, but this was the most beautiful way to begin telling her story.

Photographing your own child in a season like this is something I can’t quite put into words. There’s pride, nostalgia, excitement, and just a touch of disbelief all woven together. I find myself wanting to hold onto every second while also eagerly watching her step into everything ahead.

To the Class of 2027—you’re standing at the edge of something big. This year will be full of moments you’ll want to remember forever, and it truly does go by in the blink of an eye.
