There’s something extra special about a sunflower field session—the sea of yellow, the warm summer light, and all those happy little moments surrounded by sunshine. 🌻

Mom’s only request for this session? Photos of the kids not beating up on each other. 😂 And honestly, I’m happy to report: we managed it!

There were smiles, a little silliness, and plenty of those sweet sibling moments that make these sessions so much fun to photograph. Sometimes getting beautiful photos of your kids is less about everyone behaving perfectly and more about giving them room to be themselves—and catching the magic in between.

I absolutely love the warmth of a sunflower session. The golden blooms make the perfect backdrop, and there’s just something about standing in a field full of sunflowers that makes everyone slow down and soak it in.
